DMX began to rap in the end of 1990s. He debuted his debut album It's Hot and Hell was Dark the 19th of May, 1998. The album was followed by other releases like... And There Was X and the Great Depression Year of the Dog... Redemption of the Beast, Grand Champ. In 2001, his album titled... as well as Then There was X was awarded the Grammy nomination for the category of Best Rap Album. Alongside his music endeavors he had also appeared in films such as Lords of the Street Belly Top Five Exit Wounds That Will Never Let You Go Alone the Bleeding Romeo Must Die Backstage Beyond the Law Lockjaw Rise of the Kulev Serpent and Fast and Fierce Death Race.
