Alana De La Garza is a beautiful actress that is leaving a mark on the small screen. De La Garza, a Mexican American father as well as an Irish American mother were born in Columbus Ohio on June 26 in 1976. Soon enough she was relocating to Texas to pursue the field of physical therapy within the University of Texas. De La Garza didn't stay long in Texas before relocating to Orlando, Florida. She was in Orlando for a range of roles from local independent films to world-wide commercials. Even the small roles did not stop her from discovering she was a fan of acting. She moved from New York and in 2001 she got her first acting gig on the daytime soap All My Children as Rosa Santos. Throughout the early 2000s she was a small part in JAG Las Vegas and Two and a Half Men. She landed her major role in 2004 on the brief drama The Mountain. De La Garza had the pleasure of working with some amazing TV actors, including Barbara Hershey Oliver Hudson Penn Badgley Mitch Pileggeggi. She was A.D.A. on Law & Order in 2006. Connie Rubirosa. The actress was on the show for 85 seasons. Then she joined the shorter-lived spinoff Law & Order: LA. De La Garza was nominated for several awards, including Best Supporting Actress for TV by Imagen Foundation Awards as well as a number of ALMA Award nominations. The actress was awarded the Impact Award in 2008 for her performance that stood out on an intense television show from National Hispanic Media Coalition. De La Garza landed a part-time role in CSI Miami a short time after. She played Marisol Deko, as well as wife to David Caruso's character Horatio.
