Anoushka Shankar

Anoushka Shankar is a British and American sitar player. She also sings. She is the youngest female and also the first woman to receive an official British House of Commons shield. Anoushka Shankar is one of the rising stars of India's sitar. She is both the daughter and student of Ravi Shankar. Her birthplace was in London in 1982, and was a young girl who travelled back and forth between London in London and New Delhi. As a teenager when her first performance at New Delhi took place.
